INFORMATIONS about:

- how the data are aggregated from the 15-min Meteosat satellite images,

Summary of the free data:
- HC1: whole dataset without restriction (i.e. from 1985 to 2005, approx. 20 km spatial res)
- HC3: all the services but restricted to 2005.
- NASA-SSE: whole dataset without restriction (from July 1983 to June 2005, 1 degree of spatial res)
- NASA-SSE + HC1: whole dataset without restriction (best spatial resolution between NASA-SSE and HC1)
