Q. What is a service for registered users?
A. There are two types of services: free and for registered users. An identifier and a password are requested to access services for registered users. Otherwise, the access is free and unlimited; no registration is needed. Each service for registered users has a free counterpart, limited usually to a certain period of time. This allows any user to test the service before registration.

To be granted an access to a service for registered users, please contact the sales support. You will receive a quotation. Before, you are requested to explore the similar service for free to be sure that the results are satisfying you. Note that the service for free is identical to the actual service, except that its temporal coverage is limited.

Q.What can I do with my account?
A.The account is opened on payment of the annual subscription fee. During this 12 months period, you will be entitled to access the services you have suscribed to on an unlimited basis.
Q.How much is a fee for a "restricted" service?
A.The annual fee is a function of the services you want to suscribe. Contact the sales support for a quotation.

Problems in executing services
Q. When executing a service, an error "the Soda Service has encountered an error" appears.
A. This service is temporarily down. Try later. If it still does not work, contact the technical team.
Q. When executing a service, no error message appears but the page "Results of your request" is empty.
A. This service is experiencing a problem. Please, tell us and contact the technical team.
Q. No graph appears in the Results page. I know that there should be a graph and it does not show.
A.Check that the browser allows images that are sent by other web sites.
Q. I launched a service. The screen remains empty. What should I do?
A. If the standard interface does not appear, the requested service is likely using Java. Check the execution of Java by the browser.
What do I need to exploit SoDa? How to configure the browser
Q. What do I need to exploit the SoDa Service.
A. A standard browser is sufficient.
Q. I was using the server therese.scep.ensmp.fr / SoDa. It cannot be accessed.
A. This site is re-directed to "www.soda-is.com". You thus benefit from new functionnalities that do not exist in the Java version that was exploited on the site "therese.scep.ensmp.fr". However, in case, you cannot access a service you are used to, please, let us know.
Q. Do I need Java to perform a request to the SoDa Service?
A.No need for Java to launch a service. A new interface is now deployed that launches a service without using Java. Click on "Services" in the menu on top or on "Access a Service" on the left menu. Select your domain of interest in the list. Select a service. To access this service, click on the corresponding button "LAUNCH". "INFO" provides information on the service and "LOOK" shows a commented example of results.
Q. I cannot see the pages describing the services, nor the pages showing the exemples.
A. Check that the browser is allowing pop-up windows.
How can I contribute to the SoDa Service
Q. I have a database of interest to the SoDa public. I have made a wonderful application that solves many problems of the SoDa public. I want to make my knowledge available to the SoDa public and would like to become a provider of service. What should I do?

What is available and how can I access a service
Q. What is available in the SoDa Service?
A. Click on the item "services" in the upper menu. A page will show the various domains. Select one. The list of services will appear. For each service, an "info" page is available describing the service.
